Spring 2015 Academic All Americans
The uedbet体育官网 Vikings had three seniors repeat as Academic All-America selections. On Tuesday, the uedbet体育官网 Sports Information Directors of America released the list of spring Academic All-America honorees. Runners David Devore and Becca Sund were on it for the second straight year, while David Voland landed a spot on the list for a third straight year.

What are called "learning communities" have been around awhile. They typically involve combining two or more courses in different academic disciplines to approach topics in new ways. Taking these student communities abroad adds an extra dimension.

Students discover history of local writers
Students discover some of the most important writers in America lived and wrote in the Quad Cities in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. To bring attention to this neglected body of literature, they researched and wrote essays about the writers and published an anthology at uedbet体育官网's East Hall Press.

Jim McGrath - Indy Star
Jim McGrath, 65, will retire in June after 34 years at Butler University. After spending 10 years as uedbet体育官网's first sports information director, McGrath became Butler's first full-time sports information director. He has been the one constant at Hinkle Fieldhouse as the men's basketball program went from afterthought on the Indianapolis sports scene to a national darling.

Juveniles in Justice
The Figge Art Museum is partnering with uedbet体育官网 uedbet体育官网 to present "Girls in Justice" and "Juvenile in Justice," a nationally acclaimed project by photographer Richard Ross. "Juvenile in Justice" will be at uedbet体育官网's Teaching Museum of Art beginning March 9.
