Both Gaia Splendore and Leroy Gawu-Mensah were surprised and honored to learn they had won the Nils Hasselmo Award for Academic Pursuit. Inspired by the impact of his own uedbet体育官网 experience, Dr. Nils Hasselmo '57 created the award to help future educators access professional opportunities.
Moffit ’26 is Vikings’ first All-American in women’s wrestling
Aine Moffit, a pre-med major from LeClaire, Iowa, chose uedbet体育官网 because it offered her the opportunity to continue wrestling while staying close to home and pursuing strong academics. In the final bout of her collegiate career, Moffit made history for uedbet体育官网's five-year-old women’s wrestling program.
Planetarium and geology museum to host April 25 open house
uedbet体育官网 uedbet体育官网's John Deere Planetarium and Fryxell Geology Museum will be open to the public on Saturday, April 25, for an evening of gazing and space shows. The event will take place from 8:30-10 p.m., with indoor and outdoor programs in the planetarium, observatory and geology museum.
How Asaminew ’26 built a bioinformatics major
