Ten students receive awards for international study and summer programs

Dr. Dan Lee, professor of religion, and his wife, Ruth Lee, established the Excellence in the Liberal Arts Award, which provides uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø students with $400-$4,000 for international study or summer programs in the humanities.

Inaugural business plan competition awards $14,000

uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø¡¯s Department of Business Administration held its inaugural Rogers Business Plan Competition this spring. The Howard and Helen Rogers Entrepreneurial Endowment provided the funds for prizes of $7,000, $4,500 and $2,500 for the first-, second- and third-place teams, respectively.

uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø holds second annual robotics competition

Seven teams from uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø, Knox uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø and St. Ambrose University went head-to-head in the second annual uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Invitational Robotics Challenge in early May. Teams from uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø won first and third place, while a St. Ambrose team took home second.

All-campus retreat

uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø faculty and staff are invited to an all-day retreat, beginning with a continental breakfast.

The program will begin at 9:30 a.m. After a program of speakers and reports, lunch will be provided for all employees.

Fall Symposium Day

Fall Symposium Day is an alternative day of learning that includes presentations by faculty, students, staff, alumni and invited speakers. This day has a rotating theme connected to Augie Reads.
