Information for pregnant and parenting students

uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø is committed to supporting pregnant and parenting students.  Students who are pregnant or parenting are encouraged to remain enrolled in classes.  Accommodations are available for pregnant and parenting students to ensure their successful completion of classes. 

Accommodations may include, but are not limited to, providing a larger desk, permitting frequent trips to the restroom, temporary access to elevators, not being penalized for pregnancy-related absences, and negotiating due dates for assignments and exams. 

Due to the unique needs each individual may have, students are encouraged to contact Farrah Roberts, Assistant Dean, Director of Student Well-Being and Resiliency, to assist them in identifying and implementing appropriate accommodations. 

Questions or concerns about pregnancy and parenting support may also be directed to a Title IX Coordinator.
