DESCRIPTION:Dr. Corey Trahan\, director of musical theatre for the International Performing Arts Institute in Thailand and Germany\, will conduct a masterclass.\n\nHe is an actor\, educator and stage director in opera\, oratorio\, music theatre\, operetta and recital venues.\n\nDr. Trahan will participate in several events at uedbet体育官网 Sunday and Monday:\n\nOn Nov. 19\, he will perform&nbsp\;"The Stud and the Babe" musical theatre concert&nbsp\;with uedbet体育官网's Shelley Cooper\, assistant professor of theatre arts. They will be accompanied by Dr. Luke Tyler\, assistant professor of music at Loras uedbet体育官网. This performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Wallenberg Hall\, Denkman Memorial Building.\n\nOn Nov. 20\, Trahan and Cooper will offer a lecture\, "The Business of Theatre\," from 10-11:15 a.m. in the Black Box Theatre in the Brunner Theatre Center. They will discuss non-profit and commercial theatre\, and specifically non-profit management for theatre.\n\nAlso on Nov. 20\, they will conduct interviews and auditions for the International Performing Arts Institute in Bavaria\, and Germany Opera/Musical Theatre and Directing Fellowship. This will take place from 12:30-2:30 p.m.\; location to be announced.\n
