Her talk is part of the event of Homecoming weekend.\n\nDr. Boaden began at uedbet体育官网 as an English instructor in 1970. Having graduated from Moline High School\, and continuing on to receive degrees with honors from uedbet体育官网 and the University of Chicago\, Dr. Boaden has been a lifelong contributor to the Quad-Cities community as well as the campus community.&nbsp\;\n\nHer teaching specializations were English literature\, creative writing\, Jane Austen\, Charlotte Bront?\, non-fiction writing and uedbet体育官网 history.&nbsp\;\n\nIn 2011\, her book "Light and Leaven: Women Who Shaped uedbet体育官网's First Century" was released.&nbsp\;\n
