Dave Wrath '80, associate director of athletics and sports information director atuedbet体育官网 uedbet体育官网, recently was named the 2015 winner of the Excellence in Communications Award by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
During his undergraduate years at uedbet体育官网 uedbet体育官网, Wrath ran for coach Paul Olsen's cross country and track & field teams. Just one year after he graduated he became the sports information director at uedbet体育官网 and has since spent the last three-plus decades covering those teams.
Not only is Wrath's coverage of uedbet体育官网 track & field outstanding, but he also promotes uedbet体育官网 athletes for Academic All-American awards. uedbet体育官网 is consistently in the top ten in the nation in Academic All-American honors, among all colleges and universities and across all divisions, thanks greatly to Wrath's organization and efforts.
