AC1 Wi-Fi shutting down Sept. 29; enroll in ACStaff or ACStudents
On Monday, Sept. 29, the AC1 Wi-Fi wireless network will be shut down. Microsoft is enforcing tighter security requirements for Wi-Fi certificates. Due to this change, current AC1 Wi-Fi certificates will stop working.
ITS has created two updated Wi-Fi networks to replace AC1: ACStaff and ACStudents. The new networks and AC1 will both operate until then to allow time to update your devices. Please don't wait until AC1 is offline to switch.
AC2 for gaming and streaming devices is not impacted, nor is ACGuests for visitor access.
To re-enroll your personal laptop or phone, visit www.augustana.edu/wireless. This can be done on or off campus to prepare for the change.
