Frieze Lecture: 'Beloved'

Dr. Ashley Burge, assistant professor of English, will present "Beloved" in the last of this year's Frieze Lecture Series "Ideas That Changed Us."

In the series, uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø faculty  discuss books that mark significant artistic, scientific or political movements. Dr. Burge will discuss how Morrison¡¯s literary masterpiece has faced multiple banning attempts for its frank depiction of the horrors of slavery.
