Autism education and awareness talk

Jan Weis, director of accessibility and disability services at Scott Community uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø, will speak about autism awareness and education.

Her talk is part of Autism Awareness Month programming.

Scott Community uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍø is one of the three colleges that make up Eastern Iowa Community uedbetÌåÓý¹ÙÍøs. She serves three campuses for the college in Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa.

Weis has been involved in disability services at the college level since 1995. She has presented on autism education for several organizations, including the Autism Society of the Quad Cities, for ILLOWA AHEAD conferences, area high schools, 
colleges. Her experience and knowledge help students on the autism spectrum prepare for college.
